Katie is an illustrator and educator. She grew up in Northern Virginia and studied Illustration, at Virginia Commonwealth University. After her graduation she worked as a graphic designer at a local Virginia publishing company for two years. During the COVID pandemic she went back to school to follow her second passion, art education. She graduated from George Mason University with a Masters of Art Teaching in 2022.  When she is not illustrating or teaching she loves swing dancing, antique restoration, writing, and playing her concertina and banjo!
