The Fresh Voices Award
Submissions for the Fresh Voices Award OPEN for our Spring/Summer issues from March 1st to May 1st and for our Fall/Winter issues from Sept. 1st. to Nov. 1st.
The Fresh Voices Award was started to show our appreciation for all the hard work our contributors pour into their craft. The award is open to submissions of art, prose, poetry, and everything in-between during our Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter Issues. Starting in 2023, there will be three first place winners: one for poetry, one for prose, and one for art. (Hybrid work, visual work, audio, and everything in-between will be considered for each category.)
Submissions open: March 1 - May 1 (for Spring/Summer Issues) and September 1 - November 1 (for Fall/Winter Issues).
Entry Fee: None.
Eligibility: Submission to any Spring/Summer or Fall/Winter Issue is an automatic entry to the Fresh Voices Award. All who submit are considered.
Media: Fiction, nonfic, flash, poetry, hybrid, art, film, music, and more!
Limitations: Previously published work will not be accepted. Work solicited by our editors is not eligible for the prize. Prize compensation will only be dispersed via PayPal. Check our submission guidelines for more information.
Prizes: The first-place winners for art, prose, and poetry will each receive $20 USD via PayPal, a potential interview, and a special mention in your respective issue’s table of contents.
Winners will be notified before publication of the issue and announced upon publication of the issue.
